**In Loving Memory of Blair Michael McKinley**

Blair Michael McKinley was born on April 12, 1994, in Baton Rouge, and quickly became a beacon of joy in the lives of all who knew him. With a vibrant spirit and an infectious smile, he illuminated every room he entered, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike.
Growing up in Gonzales, Blair's fun-loving nature was evident from an early age. He was the youngest of eight siblings, and his presence transformed gatherings into occasions filled with laughter and love. A graduate of DLMI in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, Blair’s journey was characterized by his passion for music, particularly rap, and his love for sports, especially basketball. Raised in humble surroundings, his devotion to family, particularly to his beloved son, Kash, was a testament to his character.
Blair embraced the Christian faith from a young age, finding strength in compassion, perseverance, and hope. His unwavering positivity inspired those around him to seek the good in every situation, even when faced with life's challenges. As a Chef at Capital City Rehabilitation, Blair poured his heart into preparing meals that brought joy to residents, demonstrating his commitment to hard work and integrity in all that he did.
His radiant smile was not just a feature; it was a gift that had the power to uplift everyone fortunate enough to be in his presence. Whether through laughter or genuine conversations, Blair created a sense of joy that will be fondly remembered by many.
Blair is preceded in death by his cherished maternal grandmother, Mable Shaw, and his grandparents Andrew and OraLee McKinley, along with aunts and uncles who celebrated his life. He leaves behind a loving family, including his son Kash, mother Yolanda McKinley, devoted siblings Shantell, Alicia, Che’Reia, and Kevon McKinley, and Syles, Durand, and Damon Jones. He is also remembered by his favorite aunt, Auntie Mavis, and Aunt Willie Faye Lewis, as well as his beloved cousins TaiMyshaun, Angelica, Mikaylah, Christopher and Paul Jones, and Benzel Young, as well as close nieces and nephews Talonja, ShaDarrion, Clarence, Eriyonna, Ty Yanna, Drayko, Kylie, Amoura, Carl, Nathaniel, TaNii, Marley, and Nashanele, Adreanna, Amaura, Marlee, a special friends Kaylan Dunn and Krystle Miles and a host of other cousins, other relatives and friends.
As we celebrate Blair's life, we honor the immense love, laughter, and joy he gifted to us all. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone he touched. While he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain etched in our souls.
Rest peacefully, dear Blair. You will never be forgotten.
