Janie Swain Knox

Janie Swain Knox, 78, a resident and native of Baton Rouge passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, surrounded by her family. Visiting Saturday December 19, 2020 9:00am until Religious Service at 11:00am at St. James Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert E. Smith. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Diana (A.M.) Robinson and Ursula (Leslie) Thomas; one son, Darrell (fiancé Rita) Johnson all of Baton Rouge LA; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jessie and Elizabeth Smart Swain; six brothers and four sisters. Professional Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home
