Every moment with her was a treasured gift

With profound love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Malayah Le'Mori Chapman, who was born on June 30, 2026, and peacefully gained her angel wings on July 12, 2026, at Manning Family Children's Hospital.

Though Malayah's time on earth lasted only two precious weeks, the love she gave and the joy she brought will last forever. From the moment she entered the world, she courageously faced medical challenges with incredible strength. She was a true little fighter whose precious presence filled her family's hearts with overwhelming love. Every moment with her was a treasured gift, and her life, though brief, leaves a legacy of courage, hope, and unconditional love that will be cherished forever.

In her short time here, Malayah taught those who loved her the true meaning of strength, faith, and unconditional love. She brought smiles to her parents, comfort to her family, and a bond that will never be broken. Though she was only with us for a little while, the memories created with her will be treasured for a lifetime. She will forever remain her family's beautiful blessing and their sweetest reminder that love is not measured by time, but by the imprint it leaves on our hearts.

Malayah leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving mother, Colyiah Bethley; her devoted father, Marvell Chapman; her beloved grandparents; her uncle, Courtney Moore; her aunt, Jonnecia Williams; her great-aunt, Ti'Yawna Ellis; her godmother, Destiny George; along with many other loving aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends whose lives were touched by her beautiful spirit.

Some people only dream of angels. We were blessed to hold one in our arms.

Although our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing that Malayah is now resting safely in God's loving arms, free from pain and surrounded by everlasting peace. She will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be remembered.

"Some people only dream of angels. We were blessed to hold one in our arms."

Forever loved. Forever cherished. Forever our precious baby girl.
