Renordo Aries Osirio, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest at his residence on September 29, 2025, at the age of 46.
Renordo accepted Christ at an early age, and his faith remained a guiding light throughout his life. He worked as a cook in local restaurants, where his talent for preparing meals was matched only by the joy he brought to those around him. Known for his sense of humor, Renordo had a gift for making people laugh and lifting spirits wherever he went. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and good food.
He is survived by his children, Renordo Williams, Renord Williams, and Renordo Osirio, Jr.; his grandmother, Mary Pitts; and his siblings, Angel Pitts, Marvin D. Pitts, Marvin K. Pitts, Kayla Pitts, Jeremy Pitts, Kiemora Pitts, Toya Dorsey (Bernard) Bilbo, Eniesha (Christian) Thygesen, Alexis Emery, Rico Dorsey, and Edward Emery. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Services to honor and celebrate Renordo’s life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Resting Place Funeral Home, 7840 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resting Place Memorial Garden.
