**In Loving Memory of Mother Evangelist Sylvia "Syl" Lee**
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Evangelist Sylvia "Syl" Lee, who entered eternal rest on January 28, 2022, at the age of 70. Syl's journey began in Baton Rouge, where she attended McKinley Sr. High and pursued her passion for nursing at Capitol Area Vocational School, earning her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over three decades, she dedicated herself to the compassionate care of others as a valued nurse at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Syl was a beacon of light to everyone she encountered. Her unwavering faith and deep commitment to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ left an indelible mark on many lives. She inspired those around her with her kindness, love, and relentless spirit.
Syl will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Joseph Lee, her cherished children, John Allen Robinson Jr. (Sheila) and Jennifer Michelle Robinson Harris (Kevin), and her step-children, Alberta Williams and Terry Coates. She is also survived by her dear sister, Laurant White (Ronald), her brother, LeeRoy Williams, and her vibrant legacy of eight grandchildren: Keona Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Alyssa Lewis, Anitra Foster, Kenneth Brown, Jamie Brown, Eric Brown, and Markisha Brown.
Syl was blessed with a close-knit circle of family and friends who enriched her life, including her devoted friend, Joyce Henry, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved ACOJC Church Family. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the memories she has left behind and the love she shared with all of us.
