It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Timmy Roy Hampton Sr. on December 17, 2025, at the age of 61, at The Carpenter House. Timmy was born on January 8, 1964, and throughout his life, he made a profound impact on everyone who knew him, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.
Timmy was a proud Army veteran, having served with honor and distinction, earning both the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon during his time in service. His dedication and commitment to his country were evident, reflecting his strong character and values.
He had a passion for automobiles and motorcycles, which provided him with immense joy throughout his life. Timmy loved everything related to cars and enjoyed leisurely bicycle rides, celebrating the freedom and exhilaration they brought him. A devoted fan of LSU, he often found camaraderie and happiness in rooting for his team, embodying the spirited nature of a true enthusiast.
Timmy leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Timmy Hampton Jr. He also leaves behind his brother Lyndon "Craig" Hampton, and his other siblings Michael Hampton, Christopher Hampton, Sarah Hampton, and Wanza Hampton, along with numerous relatives and friends who held him dear.
Timmy is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alvin and Frankie Hampton, whose love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became.
As arrangements are still being finalized, updates will be shared at a later date. The legacy of Timmy Roy Hampton Sr. will endure through the lives he touched and the lessons he imparted to those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
