Obituary

With hearts overflowing with love and gratitude for the precious time granted to them, the family of TriKenzie Dezire Snowden sorrowfully announces her passing on April 26, 2026, at Woman’s Hospital—just seven days after her beautiful arrival into the world on April 19, 2026.

TriKenzie was a blessed surprise to her parents, Ralph Snowden and Michelle Anderson Snowden, who quickly embraced her with immense joy and affection. From the very moment they learned of her coming, she was deeply cherished—not only by her parents but by an extended family eagerly awaiting her arrival.

Though her journey began with challenges, TriKenzie showed extraordinary strength. When her mother’s water broke early, she held on bravely, nestled safely in the womb until her birth by C‑section. Born prematurely, she spent her brief days in the NICU, where her quiet determination earned her the loving title of a true fighter.

During her seven days on Earth, TriKenzie brought light, hope, and tenderness to everyone who met her. She was baptized and dedicated back to God on Sunday, and shortly thereafter, He gently welcomed her into His loving arms. Her time with us was short, but her impact will last forever. She was beautiful, cherished, and loved beyond measure.

TriKenzie is lovingly remembered by her devoted parents; her grandmother Janice Anderson; her siblings Lillie Snowden, Te’Arria Ranson and her husband Gerald Sr., Myles Snowden, and TriKoby Rheams; her nephews Frederick Ramsey, Feonix Ramsey, and Gerald Ransom Jr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and family members who adored her. The family also extends heartfelt appreciation to those who had eagerly anticipated becoming her Godparents.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Bobby and Jeanette Snowden; her maternal grandfather Carnell Hayes; her maternal great-grandparents John and Estelle Robertson; and her aunt Jacqueline Snowden.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at New Pilgrim Baptist Church, 4277 Old Weis Road, Zachary, LA 70791, conducted by Pastor Dr. Derrick T. Williams. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Garden.

Though her time was short, TriKenzie’s life was full—full of love, full of purpose, and full of the joy she brought simply by being here. Her tiny footprints will forever leave a big imprint on the hearts of all who loved her.
